Support Halifax Choral Society
Halifax Choral Society is a Registered Charity (No 1020049 ) and is financed entirely by a combination of its members’ subscriptions, the generosity of individual and corporate Patrons and Sponsors, and revenue from ticket sales.

We aren’t tied to any commercial organisation, and we receive no support from the Government or the Arts Council.
Since 1817 Halifax Choral Society has endeavoured to promote the highest standards of music performance and continues to do so. Our Trustees and Board of Directors are all volunteers. The cost of everything went up last year, particularly insurance, staging, and rehearsal space. We pay fees to our very talented professional musicians at a level which reflects the value we place upon them. 

All donations will help towards developing young singers via our Choral Scholars Scheme

We are happy to accept donations by card or internet bank transfer. Card payments incur fees from our bank, but If you decide to pay by internet bank transfer, we will receive the full amount of your donation! Details of how to pay will appear when you enter an amount and click "next" below.

Please remember also, that, if you are a UK Taxpayer, with your consent Halifax Choral Society will be entitled to claim Gift Aid on your donation which means that we can claim an additional 25% of the value of your gift from HM Government
